Android Mirroring helps you cast your device’s display and be able to see it on another device, like your TV or computer. If your Android phone has a broken screen and you are not able to use your phone properly with the faulty display, then you can share your screen to a computer monitor and control your phone through PC using mouse and keyboard. You can also use this technique to watch photos and videos on a big screen without uploading them to your computer, transfer files between two devices with a simple drag and drop, record your Android screen and take screenshots of it directly on your computer, and so on. So, there are a variety of reasons why you want to mirror an Android screen. Whatever your reason may be, casting your Android screen to a PC is quite convenient and easy. You can either do it wirelessly or by using a USB. This post will guide you on how to mirror your Android screen on PC via USB.
Note: Mirroring is not a solution for playing high-end Android game on your PC. Mirroring apps are quite laggy and not suitable for playing games. If you intend to mirror your Android screen for gaming, then it would be best to install an Android emulator application on your pc, which is dedicated for that purpose. An Android emulator can provide you uninterrupted Android experience on a computer.

Cast Android screen to PC using USB
To share your Android screen to PC, you have to install one application on both devices. There are so many free apps that will let you do the task – Vysor, Mobizen, TeamViewer, Airdroid, etc. Just to show you, I am going to use Mobizen.
Mobizen is the perfect mirroring app that works without connecting to a WiFi network. It lets you access your Android phone’s files and features through a big screen. However, you should know that this app doesn’t let you cast audio while streaming smartphone media on PC. Also, it’s worth noting that it comes with a watermark at the bottom of the screen. The major advantage is that it works directly on the browser with Mobizen web version, and you don’t need to install an app on your PC. However, it’s not recommended as Mobizen works best with its PC client program.
Here’s what you need to get started;
- An Android smartphone with USB debugging enabled.
- An USB cable to connect your phone to your PC.
Follow the steps below to display Android screen to PC using Mobizen;
① Download & install Mobizen Mirroring app on your Android smartphone and Mobizen PC client on your computer.
② Open the app on your phone and create a free account. You can also use your Facebook or Google account to create one.
③ Use a USB cable to connect your phone to your PC to allow USB debugging.
④ Go back to your PC, open Mobizen PC client or visit mobizen.com, then log in using the account you’ve created. You’ll receive a 6-digit code.
⑤ Switch to your Android device and enter the code on the app. Then tap ‘Start now’ on the pop-up to establish a connection.
Note: Mobizen also supports mirroring via WiFi. Wireless mirroring though, will not allow you to control your Android device. But, you can still transfer files, record screen, stream videos and images, and lots of other stuff.
